New Student Orientation

Student Life, Residence Life, and the five academic schools organize orientation programs for incoming undergraduate and graduate students.

Our goal is to help ease the transition of all new students into the JTS and Morningside Heights community and greater New York City through informational, social, and Jewish life programming.

We look forward to welcoming all new students at the end of August.

Sunday, August 26: Residence Halls open at 8:00 a.m. for all residents attending Orientation.

Sunday, August 26–Sunday, September 2: List College Orientation. Learn more about List College Orientation.

Monday, August 27: The Davidson School, Rabbinical School, and H. L. Miller Cantorial School orientations begin.

Tuesday, August 28: The Graduate School orientation begins.
