Superior Academic Training in a Nurturing Environment

Teaching and learning are at the center of everything we do at JTS. We offer a wide range of learning opportunities, including undergraduate education in our Albert A. List College of Jewish Studies and postgraduate education in our graduate school and three professional schools. In addition, we offer an array of courses and programs accessible to part-time and occasional students, including high school students. Our academic and professional programs are enhanced by our affiliation with other institutions in the New York City metropolitan area, especially nearby Columbia University and Union Theological Seminary. All of our courses and programs, whatever their level, maintain the highest standard of academic excellence. We also recognize that students do not pursue their studies in a void, so we strive to create an environment that fosters the integration of intellectual pursuits with Jewish living—a community that nurtures both mind and spirit.
